The Sentinel’s Bride (A short story I wrote for Friday Frights Grotesque Love and Knives)

The Sentinel’s Bride Awakened out of a sound sleep, Jade struggled to see through the veil of sleepy haze impairing her vision. Her mind, working against her confusion, kicked into overdrive. Narrow-eyed she peered around the seemingly empty chamber. “Where am I?” She uttered. But no sooner had the words slipped past her lips, the blood in her veins turned to ice water as the realization of her circumstance became clear. “No, this cannot be happening, not again. I can’t endure the pain any longer, I can’t. Please don’t do this to me again,” she implored, hoping with all of her heart he would hear her plea. Despite her vocal outcry, deep down Jade knew it wouldn’t matter. She had been in this situation many times before and she knew all too well exactly what to expect. He would come for her, he always did.

Meet Armand Rosamilia - Horror Author Extraordinaire!

I am very excited about this interview with Armand Rosamilia. The incredibly talented horror author welcomed this intrusion, allowing me to probe into his personal and professional life. So it is with much delight that I share with you the interrogation I put Armand through. Ladies andGentleman - meet Armand Rosamilia! Quinn - Could I ask you tell me a little about yourself? Are you married? Do you have any children? Armand - I am happily divorced, twice. But I have three great kids from the second marriage, so there is that. Quinn – I like that-happily divorced. I would imagine that’s the best kind of divorce. I have four kids and I think that kids are one of the best byproducts of a marriage/relationship. It’s our ‘spin off’, if you will. Not that being a parent gives you much time to unwind but what do you do for relaxation Armand? Armand - I'm not familiar with the term. I write all the time, unless I'm reading or hanging out with my friends or ki...

Midnight Son!

I came across the link for this on Alex Scully's face book page. I thought it looked very interesting. I have an addiction to vampires and just had to share.                                        http://www.firbolgpublishing.com/dark-cinema-midnight-son/ Like literature, horror films are divided into two camps. There are the gore and bloodshed splatter films. Everything from the   Saw   series to the classics such as   Halloween  and   Nightmare on Elm Street . The other side of the fence are the dark, Gothic films. These films take their cues from Hitchcock and other masters of suspense and atmosphere.   Midnight Son   is a highly recommended dark film for those looking for something different in your vampires.

Sneak Peek!

Unable to contain my excitement I just had to share with you all the preliminary sketch of the book cover for the new edition of my werewolf story. Not only has it been rewritten, I have lengthened it and given it a new title. Originally titled Bipedal, it is now titled “The Magic of Moon Light”. Artist Michael Calandra is the genius responsible for this magnificent work of art. This is a work in progress; I am so looking forward to seeing the finished picture.

Teddy - This teddy bear is not your average cute and cuddly bear! He's warped and evil.

Warning: Teddy is a sick, twisted little tale about a teddy bear (sort of) that I wrote for an anthology. It didn't quite fit and was rejected (Sniffle, Sniffle, Sob, Sob - Just kidding around. It is what it is, the life of a writer right and rejections are a major part of it) so after spending more hours than I care to admit on this story and having it edited, I'm posting it here for lack of anything better to do with it. I hope you all enjoy it. ;P "Teddy" by Quinn Cullen Standing outside of the unusual shop, he was trying to decide whether to enter. The man was not as the average patron that frequented this kind of boutique but as he gazed up and down the street afraid that someone might recognize him, he certainly resembled that sort of sleazy clientele: looking rather disreputable as he pulled the collar of his blazer up around his head. He grasped the brim of his hat and tugged the Indiana Jones style headgear down as far as he could in an at...

Stacey Turner's expertise at spinning a tale shines in "Rymfire Erotica: An Erotic Horror Anthology".

I received a notice on Face Book, an invite to check out Stacey Turner's Face Book author page. I am a huge fan of Stacey's writing as well as her editorial skills, so naturally I immediately head over there. When I clicked on her link, Read My Book, it brought me to a list of books available on Amazon that includes stories written by Stacey. At the bottom of this list, a book titled, Rymfire Erotica caught my attention. It includes Stacey's short story, Martin. Not having had the pleasure of reading this story, on Stacey's merits alone, I bought the book, down loaded it to my Kindle for PC and began reading. I cannot speak of the other stories in Rymfire Erotica, not yet, not until I've read them. I will read them all and review them as well but I was compelled to write this review for Stacey. Erotica and horror are genres that I dabble in; but Stacey's story took me by surprise. If what you are looking for is basic pornography; tactless erotica; the...
